Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
There have been complaints of leaking question papers and copying of answer sheets in the secondary examination of West Bengal. West Bengal Madhya Shiksha Parishad is going to take the help of new technology this time to deal with any kind of problem regarding the examination center. They will be using a new real time app to conduct this year's secondary examinations.
In 2023, the number of secondary examinees will be more than 8 lakhs. The board has decided to launch a new app. Examination centers can be monitored from the Board of Secondary Education office through the app. The board has decided to train the officials in charge of the examination in this regard. Deputy Secretary (Examination) Moushumi Banerjee issued a notification on behalf of the Board of Secondary Education.
In the notification issued by the board, it has been said that those who are in charge of the examination can download the app on their mobile and can directly inform the board officials about all the information. As a result, the Board can easily and quickly know about any incident happening even in the schools located in the border areas of different districts.
Board's notification has been issued for four types of officers conducting the examination. This notification has been issued to regional officers in charge of secondary examination, district coordinators, central secretaries and Venu supervisors. These high officials will be informed about the problem through video conference on February 12. All concerned authorities will be informed about the app in a phased manner. Dibyendu Mukhopadhyay, president of the West Bengal Trinamool Secondary Teachers Association, has welcomed this new initiative of the Central Education Council.
